Agenda:

- Scott McCabe, president of IMR Digital, will update us on some recent IMR project successes, touching on meaningful use requirements and integration with electronic medical record systems. A $5,000 investor in our Health IT group, IMR also is the featured meeting sponsor. See sponsor information below.

- Christine Cavanaugh, executive director of the Pennsylvania eHealth Initiative (PA eHI), will update us on her group's current efforts.

- We will review the status of Senate Bill 8, which establishes the governance structure and funding mechanism for the state's health information exchange efforts. The senate hearing on Senate Bill 8 is Wednesday, March 7; TechQuest President & CEO Kelly Lewis is one of the scheduled speakers, as is PA eHI's Chris Cavanaugh. We will take some time at this meeting to really make sure everybody understands the legislation and the direction of HIE efforts in the state.

Meeting Sponsor: IMR helps you control your data and documents. IMR Healthcare Solution enables streamlined workflow throughout the entire healthcare delivery system. IMR Healthcare facilitates the electronic capture, storage, and management of all types of documents, so that all users - from scheduling to billing - can have access to the same documents simultaneously. Any document within the system can be retrieved, viewed, revised, annotated, and distributed as needed. IMR Healthcare offers meaningful use solutions and integrates easily with virtually any EMR. Save the date for the next meeting (4/19)!  In part, Gary Scicchitano, Vice President of the Visiting Nurse Association of Central Pennsylvania, will discuss a set of challenges the VNA shares with many non-profit healthcare organizations: how to prioritize among numerous potential technology investments in an increasingly tight reimbursement environment.
